She no longer occupies a studio but still participates in the artistic life at Dean Clough.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">I work predominantly in oil on gesso. My subject matter is the domestic. Calm contemplation, quiet moments of observation, the play of light and depth of a shadow. My paintings don&#8217;t tell a story but they do tell the viewer about the object(s) depicted &#8211; it&#8217;s scale and texture, what it is made of and what it is used for.
