Sculptor and visual art production/project manager
Making my own work usually begins with a location. I investigate and immerse myself in this new environment through walking, maps and archive research. I often collaborate with fellow artist Mark Jacobs, our research and dialogue manifesting as an installation built in that place.
I am also Studio Manager for David Nash and manage a small team in Blaenau Ffestiniog. This includes all aspects of making new work from tree to finished sculpture.
As a freelance project manager I work with artists and venues on art installations. These include working with Yorkshire Sculpture Park and international projects with Andy Goldsworthy.
