Embroiderer
Jessica trained at the Royal School of Needlework and over her 20+ year career she has worked in costume at the Royal Opera House, taught needlework to prison inmates for Fine Cell Work, co-authored a book called ‘Adventures in Needlework’, and been a member of the team who created the embroidery for the wedding dress and veil for the Princess of Wales and, more recently, embroidery projects for the King’s coronation. She also demonstrated embroidery to the late HRH Her Majesty The Queen and taught at the V&A Museum as part of their exhibition ‘Frida Kahlo: Making Her Self Up’.
